Oatmeal M&M Cookies

1 1/2 cups raisins
1 1/2 unsweetened granola mix
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup chocolate M&M’s
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup firmly light brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter (room temperature)
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract


In large kitchen bowl combine raisins, oats, M&M’s and granola. In separate bowl sift together flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. In stand mixer mix two sugars until blended. Add butter to the sugars and beat until it reaches a smooth and creamy texture. Scrap side of bowl several times until completely mixed.

Combine eggs and vanilla and add slowly to sugars. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture until just incorporated. Add raisin-granola mixture to sugars until combined.

Portion into golf ball sized portions and space at least 2” apart on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375° in a pre-heated oven for 12-15 minutes. The cookies will be soft in center and set on outside. Remove from oven and cool on a rack.
