Welcome to Our New Web site!

by The Kid's Doctor Staff

Welcome to our new Web site!  After several months of watching our site traffic growing and conducting research with some very demanding moms and dads, we are excited to introduce you to our “new baby”.  You have always counted on us to bring you the latest news, information, studies and hot topics that affect your day-to-day parenting life and we think think this new Web site will assist you (even more) on your journey to raising healthy, resilient children.

When you left the hospital with your new baby, did you wish you had a “how-to” manual tucked into the diaper bag?  Every day, we will help you write your won personal manual on the best ways to raise your kids.  From cradle through college, we cover the stories that matter to you most.  It will be a day-in-the-life of your carpool chatter…picky eating, sleep, school issues, discipline, family dinners, potty training, behavior, immunizations, development and milestones.

Each page now has a link to either print of forward information.  It’s now much easier to share what you like by just one click.  You can also leave us a comment, question and reply to a story you just read.  Don’t be shy; we want to hear from you!

Check out the new video player.  You can fast forward to different topics.  Dr. SUe will be answering your e-mails here, so stay tuned.

Sign up for our newsletter and join our escapades on Twitter and Facebook.

I read that it costs the average U.S. family $160, 140 to raise a child to age 18 which comes out to just over $1.00 per hour.  What does that investment buy you?  More love than your heart can hold and someone to laugh yourself silly with no matter what the boss said or how your stocks perform.

Raising a child is an unpredictable, joyous journey.  The Kid’s Doctor, your partner in parenting, will be there with you, every step of the way.
