Not the actual virus (just yet) but flu vaccines!  Flu vaccines are being shipped and should be in your doctor’s office at any time. Are Your Child’s Vaccines Up to Date?

American children are not meeting the recommendations for childhood vaccines. Researchers from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention said more than 25% of children are not meeting the schedule created by the U.S. government.

The CDC said that 81% of children are meeting government recommendations, but children between 8 months and 3 years of age are not getting them on time or are receiving the dose too soon after the initial dose to be affective. (more…)
